Water

All our rooms have Nikken purified water filters that use a triple purification system. Prior to that, the water entering the filter Nikken has been previously filtered. We have a Nikken dispenser in the lobby for free use of our guests and visitors. It is not advisable to drink water from the tap in Guayaquil.

Air conditioning

All of Manso rooms have air conditioner and we strongly ask to turn it off before leaving as a measure of energy saving.

Luggage storage

We can store your luggage at a cost of 1 USD per day / suitcase. If your departure flight is late we can store your bags free of charge on the same day.

Bikes

We locally manufactured bicycles available to rent USD 8 (4 hours) the USD 15 (8 hours). We also offer city tours on bikes.

Concierge

Do not have a concierge desk but our staff will be happy to help with your questions about tourism in Guayaquil and Ecuador.

DVDs

Our standard and superior rooms have dvd players. In reception there art film dvds that you can use at no cost.

Parking

Right in front of our door is the Malecón 2000, parking lot, charged USD 1,20 or when USD 10 to 24 hours, no option for inputs and outputs. We have discount arrangements with no parking. We can recommend other cheaper hosting options. Next to Manso parking is permitted past 19:00, although it is not advisable to leave it overnight in the street.

Smokers

All rooms are smoke free. The only designated smoking area is on the 2nd floor balcony.

Our receptionists will be happy to advise you with touristic information . We have bus schedules and tours information.

Books Exchange

In the lobby we have a shelf of books to exchange. The rule is if you leave a book in English or Spanish you can take a book in English or Spanish. If you leave a book in another language (other than English or Spanish) You can take a book in another language. If you leave two books in another language you can take a book in English or Spanish.

Internet wi-fi

We have wi fi signal included in the price in all rooms. You can get the password on reception. We have a computer at the reception that you can use after 18:00 and on weekends it is available all day. Monday to Friday until 18:00 there is a cyber cafe just steps from our door takes $1 Connection per hour.

Laundry

We can do laundry. The cost is USD 5 a medium-sized bag. Please note that our service does not include ironing laundry. If your garments require special washing conditions we can recommend washing professional sites.

In Reception we have a VOIP phone where you can make international calls and cellphone calls in Ecuador.

Pets

Manso is a pet-friendly hostel. Guests who bring pets are required to leave a deposit USD 50.00, which will be refundable in full if you do not breach the following rules:

1.For dogs, they should not bark during your stay.

2.They must not be aggressive or have threatening behavior towards people

3. Owners are responsible that they do not damage or leave dirty rooms, especially beds.

At the time of check-out we ask for patience so we can do a thorough check of the room to determine if it has failed the third point.

Medicines

We have a first aid kit at reception. For more medicines there are close pharmacies open until 20:00, and after that time at about 8 blocks you will find pharmacies that are open 24 hours. If you do not want to leave, ask at reception requesting delivery service of pharmacies of the sector.

Mini Bar

We have minibar in our Superior and Standard rooms. The products are natural and come almost exclusively from small producers and community enterprises.

Children allowed

The Manso is a place that children usually love because we have spacious common areas to run and play. Facing the Manso you wil see the Malecón 2000, spacious recreation area with many playgrounds.

Every day we receive the local press, that is available for guests in the lobby.

Front Desk

Reception is open 24 hours. At night our receptionist does not speak English; The bilingual reception is open from 07:00 to 23:00. We are always willing to help and serve your needs; just need to ask.

Restaurant

We are specialized in local ingredients and agroecological. We use condiments naturales and integrals. The breakfasts schedule is from 08:00 to 11:00. We serve lunch menu between USD 4 and USD 5 (include taxes). At night we are open from Monday to Saturday from 18:30 to 22:00. Mansos café is located at the level of the Reception.

Security at the hotel

The safety of our guests is a priority for us. Housekeepers are characterized by returning everything they find, even when the host has already left the room. However, in the case of documents or cash, it is always advisable to leave it in our lock box at reception. Any suspected loss, although not confirmed, Please let us know at Reception.

Security around

The surroundings of the Manso are usually safe areas. In particular the Malecon 2000, The Av. 9 Octubre, Las Peñas and Cerro Santa Ana are very safe areas even at night. Outside those areas it is advisable to be careful just after 20:00.

Room service

We offer room service for dinner service. We do not offer room service in lunch or breakfast.

Credit Cards

We accept all major credit cards without a surcharge. The only service suffers a surcharge of 10% with credit card are the lunches and the products of the gift shop.

Taxis

We use a taxi company that is owned by the drivers of the units, fulfilling our commitment to the social economy. Cars are not yellow but they are legal and safe .

Gift shop

We have a gift shop that works with local designers, many of them using recycled materials. Also gourmet and organic grocery.

Towels

All rooms are equipped with towels. If you need extra towels please ask for them at reception.

Airport shuttle

The transfer in the airport or bus terminal cost USD 10. The transfer out to both places cost USD 5. The difference is the extra time spent waiting. To wait over an hour there will be a surcharge of USD 2 per hour.

Cable TV

Our Superior and Standard rooms have television with DirecTV decoders.
