 1st day  QUITO - LAGO AGRIO - CUYABENO RESERVE

• Departure to Lago Agrio (35 min.)
  
• Reception by local guide
• Transfer to Cuyabeno bridge by minibus (2 hrs.)
  
• Lunch at the local restaurant
• Navigation down the river on motor canoe (2 hrs.)
  
• Wildlife observation on the river banks
• Arrival to lodge, accommodation and introduction
• Boat ride on the lagoon with swimming and sunset watching
• Dinner at the lodge
  
• Accommodation at the lodge wih full board 

2nd day   FULL DAY PROGRAM 

• Breakfast at the lodge
  
• Pink dolphin observation on the lagoon
  
• Trek through the rainforest with local guide, introduction to the complex neotropical ecosystem with plants, trees and animal description
  
• Use of natural resources in medicine and daily life
• Lunch at the lodge
• Navigation in the lake and wildlife observation
  
• Dinner at the lodge
  
• Night ride on the river with night species observation (caimans, boas)
  

3rd day   FULL DAY PROGRAM 

• Early in the morning birdwatching excursion
  
• Breakfast at the lodge
• Motor canoe trip to largest ethnic group in the reserve, Siona community at the Cuyabeno river banks
• Visit of the community, learning of their traditional way of life, Casabe elaboration
• Lunch at the community
• Visit of the shaman
• Reaturn to the lodge and navigation through the lagoon system with wildlife observation (parrots, toucans, sloths, monkeys, herons and other species)
• Dinner at the lodge, Night walk on the jungle path with curious insects and other night species watching
• Accommodation at the lodge with full board

  

4th.day   CUYABENO - LAGO AGRIO - QUITO

• Breakfast at the lodge
  
• Navigation back to the Cuyabeno Bridge
• Lunch at the restaurant, 
  
• Transfer to Lago Agrio airport
  
• Flight back to Quito
