Machalilla is a national park situated on south coast of Manabi near the town of Puerto Lopez. This park has over 60000 hectares including some of the islands as: Isla de Salango, Isla de la Plata. It is only coastal park in Ecuador with superb beaches as Los Frailes or indigenous communities as Agua Blanca.
Climate is very humid with high level of sunlight during the year. Spectacular nature is complemented by beautiful landscapes and immense biodiversity. Some of the marine and terrestrial species known from Galapagos can be found also here, and anyone who is interested in nature should not miss this breathtaking region.
