Growing infrastructure in this area offers many hotels, hostelries and other alternative accommodation options.  A few kilometres from town is located famous virgin beach: Los Frailes. In its proximity we can found the community and museum of Agua Blanca culture . In main season, between June and September is Puerto Lopez getting  more busy thanks to attractive whale watching tours. Traditional cuisine is rich for seafood and fresh exotic fruits. Nightlife is  hopping especially on the weekends and festivals.
