The name means Wall of the Inca. Located on the south of the country in the proximity of the city of Cuenca.
Ruins are located in a height 3100 meters above sea level. This Inca fortress was multi-functional, due to the strategic position in one of the Incas roads was used as housing of the troops and refuge for the chasquis (kind of Inca’s messengers).
